The Drakensberg mountains form the highest mountain range in South Africa and stretch for more than 300km. It's a paradise for walking and observing the views which are untouched by the human footprint.
My suggestion
Start your visit of the Drakensberg mountains in the north. The walking paths are more numerous and the summits are more impressive.

The southern part of the Drakensberg is already superb enough, but its central and northern parts are just amazing.
