Tip for fans of ancient, historic rock constructions: take a look around "Zona X", which is also located close to Cusco. You'll adore visiting the Temple of the Moon, the Temple of the Monkey and the rest, which are considered to be special places of intense energy and magnetism.

My suggestion
When I went to visit the Sacred Valley, I bought a tourist ticket which let me get into to all the major sites of Inca history. It's a very economical option and the ticket is valid for 10 days.
