My suggestion
Personally, I preferred Madeiro beach which is located on the outskirts of the village. However, don't miss a kayak safari with dolphins in the bay of Praia do Curral (go there at low tide).
Pipa is a coastal resort one hour by road from Natal and an ideal place for surfing, kitesurfing, or simply taking it easy and relaxing.
My suggestion
If you don't like the idea of sharing the beach with thousands of tourists, avoid going to Pipa in the periods from December to January or July to August.
