Punta Norte is part of the natural reserve on the Valdés Peninsula in Argentina. It is famous for its varied marine life and stunning scenery. A must for nature lovers!

My suggestion

You can see sea-lions all year round without any problem. On the other hand you need patience to see orcas. So you might need to wait for a while. Take a picnic and don't worry about the time, the show is well worth it.

My suggestion

It is possible to sleep right on the reserve in a hotel, an eco-lodge or camping for those on a budget, especially in Puerto Pirámides. An excellent option for discovering the local animal life at dawn!
