Located in the Baltic sea, a few hours by ferry from Stockholm, the island of Gotland is the largest Swedish island. The main town, Visby, is recognised as a UNESCO world heritage site.

The best time for a visit is summer, so as to make the most of wandering peacefully along Visby's small streets and taking in the beautiful island scenery.
