Nanu Oya has everything on a postcard. It is the image I have of small villages in Sri Lanka. Magnificent landscapes with an impression of complete serenity.
My suggestion
Take the time to walk round the surroundings of the village, amongst the tea plantations, to watch the harvesters at work.
Nany Oya is on the railway line linking Colombo with the rest of the country.
My suggestion
It is not really necessary to spend the night here, instead there is Nuwara Eliya only 10km away.
