Whether it's from the Bolivian or Peruvian side, Lake Titicaca's islands are enchanting. Everyone will love a cruise on Lake Titicaca.
My suggestion
I've visited the lake twice, this time exploring different islands. Each one had its own appeal. If you have the time, try to spend several days exploring this huge lake.

The legendary Lake Titicaca. Located in the Andes on the border between Peru and Bolivia and considered the highest navigable lake in the world, it's at an altitude of 3800 m, nearly 12,500 ft! With its 41 islands, some of them inhabited, it's perfect nature-lovers! 
My suggestion
-It's accessible from two departure points: Puno in Pérou and Copacabana in Bolivia. Don't hesitate to cross the border, go to Copacabana and visit the lake from there. It's much nicer and more interesting!

My suggestion
The lake and its region are somewhere you absolutely must go during a trip to Peru. Be careful, the evenings are quite cool and the sun is very strong.
