My suggestion

In the rainy season the river that neighbours the village is very powerful. If you're a light sleeper think about taking earplugs.

If you start your walk at Birethani, don't forget to get your hiking permit from the ACAP office. You may have to present it along the way and you don't need any unecessary hassle.
