In Tokyo there is no real city centre but a multitude of neighbourhoods, each bringing something unique to the table. Stroll in the city streets, through Tsukiji, the biggest fish market in the world. You're likely to come across the highest point of the archipel, Mount Fuji, with its magnificent snow caps and lakes. The floating Torii of the Istukushima-jinja is also a must. The door to the Miyajima sanctuary is one of the most widely-known symbols of Japan!
