Stuttgart is a city which I love not only for its green spaces, but also for the rolling wooded hills in the surrounding areas. Whenever I've travelled to Germany, I've always enjoyed walking in the beautiful gardens and along the Schlossplatz, Stuttgart's central square. These two gems really are Stuttgart's "green lungs". Set off in Killesberg Park, to the city's north, from where you'll be able to admire the panoramic view from the Belvedere Tower
If you enjoy museums, it's well worth taking the time to visit the Württemberg State Museum. This is the ideal place to get to know and understand the history and culture of the region since Neolithic times! Next, head to the Art Museum, famous for its collection of Otto Dix paintings. The State Gallery will more than suffice for lovers of religious art and Italian and Dutch paintings. That's not forgetting that you can also admire the beautiful fawn paintings, examples of French Cubism.
If architecture is more your thing, make your way to the Weissenhof Museum, where you can admire the houses constructed in 1927 by a selection of 20 famous architects, including Le Corbusier. A splendid way to end your trip would be to book a ticket to see one of the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra's concerts which are held in the city's impressive opera house.
