Saint-Michel-des-Saints is one of the nice holiday spots not far from Montreal.
My suggestion
Be careful with mosquitoes and black flies, real pests in the month of June! In fact, as soon as anyone with sensitive skin leaves the city they should arm themselves with aerosols, essential oils... in short, any safety items!

 If you love forest environments, then put Saint-Michel on your list; a village nestled in the heart of a stunning wooded landscape.
