Victoria's strategic position between the sea and the mountains, on Vancouver Island, makes the city a delight to explore.  
My suggestion
The great thing about Victoria is that no matter where you are in the city, you always have a view of the ocean, the mountains and sometimes even both at the same time. The landscape of this western Canadian city is magical.

Victoria is the provincial capital of British Columbia in Canada, and is situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island.
My suggestion
It's an enchanting place set in a typically wild Canadian landscape. I recommend you find a B&B and stay for a few days, not just to enjoy the town but also the rest of the island.

My suggestion

You have to pass through Victoria when arriving at (or leaving) Vancouver Island. Stop off for a while and spend some time strolling around the city's little streets before heading on.
