Armenia & Georgia provide a most interesting destination. History, current affairs, political interest in addition to religious sites, modern developments, spectacular geography. Roads are poor in some areas, but still worth the effort. Food and drink are different, interesting and good quality.

I pretty much summed it up above but even though Armenia is a small country there's so much history and culture to experience. I felt like I did a lot in one week but it was worth the drive around the country. Also, because I was traveling alone with my own driver and guide and it was still early in tourist season, there weren't too many tourists around. I felt like I had many sites to myself and that made my experience even more special. My pictures even came out nicer without other people in them.
